Pelagic ships.,Iceland, and The Faroe Islands- 2026.List nr.2

The capelin season is now in full swing  in ICeland and a total of about 33 thousand tons of capelin have been landed

Two ships from the Faroe Islands are on capelin, namely Finnur Fríði and Christian í Grótinu

in addition to them and the Icelandic ships, two ships from Greenland are on capelin and the Greenlandic ships have

landed a total of 4600 tons of capelin

the total catch on this joint list has reached 175 thousand tons and

of that catch, ships from the Faroe Islands have 88 thousand tons
the Icelandic ships about 82 thousand tons
and ships from Greenland 4500 tons

Several ships from ICELAND landed blue whiting, including Hoffell SU which brought 1350 tons
Börkur NK brought 3323 tons in one landings

Hogaberg from the Faroe Islands was mostly fishing for blue whiting and had 6186 tons in the three trips and with that

has reached almost 12 thousand tons and the highest ship on the list

Christian in Grótinu had 7427 tons in 4 trips and of that 1151 tons were capelin

Aðalsteinn Jónsson SU 5816 tons in 4 and of that catch was about 3800 tons of blue whiting, the rest was capelin

Aðalsteinn Jónsson SU is the Icelandic ship with the highest catch

Barði NK is the capelin ship with the highest catch with 2848 tons of capelin
followed by Ásgrímur Halldórsson SF with 2565 tons

Polar Amaroq with 2535 tons
and Sigurður VE with 2532 tons
